-
Host a Yard Sign
Do you have a good yard for displaying a lawn sign? Hosting a yard sign is a simple, yet critical, means to support the campaign.
Just complete our sign-up form and check "Host a yard sign". We'll securely install the sign and promptly remove it just after the election.
-
Host a "Meet Jim" Event
The best way for you to decide on your political candidate of choice is to meet and speak with them personally. In large elections, that's rarely a reality; however, for local elections that's totally an option! Simple "meet and greet" events are also a great way to spread the word about Jim's campaign.
Do you have several neighbors, friends, or family members that might be interested in Jim's campaign as well? If yes, then hosting a "Meet Jim" event is an ideal way for you to support the campaign!
Event Overview:
- Who: You, Jim Schottmuller, and 5 or more neighbors, friends, or family.
- What: A fundraising opportunity and informational gathering over coffee or appetizers designed to personally meet Jim, inquire about his campaign agenda, and share your concerns on local government.
- When: Afternoons or evenings - you pick the date! (Approximately 1-2 hours in duration.) Please contact us to confirm availability.
- Where: Your home. (Intended to be informal, simple, and comfortable.)
- How: Complete our sign-up form and check "Host a 'Meet Jim' event in my home".
(In the comments field please include the day and time that you'd like to host your event. We'll confirm availability and get back to you.)

Make a Donation
Contribute to the Schottmuller Campaign and help Jim win! Be assured that every dollar you contribute will be used on critical campaign necessities. Jim's wife and cousin have volunteered their time and talents to design the website, business cards, brochures, yard signs and other campaign materials.
Your donation will bring these designs to reality and empower me to inform and connect with voters in my district. Here is how your contribution will help:
- $300 will help us purchase: 27 Large yard signs (48 x 24) - (Our goal is 500 signs)
- $200 will help us purchase: 1500 Brochures - (Our goal is 80,000 brochures)
- $100 will help us purchase: 17 T-Shirts - (Our goal is 150 T-Shirts)
- $ 50 will help us purchase: 15 Small yard signs (24 x 12) - (Our goal is 50 signs)
- $ 20 will help us purchase: 285 Stickers - (Our goal is 10,000 stickers)

Write a Letter to your Local Newspaper Editor
Your letter could reach thousands of readers to influence public opinion. You also have an opportunity to initiate good discussion and invoke questions about how good government should run.
Suggestions:
- Be Short and to the Point. Newspapers have word limits for letters to the editor. It's best to keep your letter to 150 words or less.
- Get Personal. Your letter should tell YOUR story and why Jim's plans could help you or your family.
- Get Local. Remind editors how Jim's plans would help people in your local area, community, economy, etc.
- Proofread. Use spell check and proofread the letter carefully to increase the chance you'll be published.
- Be sure to sign your letter and provide your mailing address and telephone number. Some newspapers contact letter writers to make sure they are "for real."
- Review our brochures and campaign materials if you need some language and points to include in your letter.
